Little Tuna’s seventh trifecta of the season eliminates three more Analysts from the annual competition: Big Tuna, Kal Krome, and Wise Orangutan. With two weeks to go, the LT has already defeated the top four contenders of season I.
In second place, The Strategist (6 trifectas) trails as the most challenging Analyst for the annual title. Strategist will also have to make up ground in Correct Picks if the Analyst of the Year award ends in a tie with Little Tuna.
In third, The Bookie (5 trifectas) will need two trifectas and some seriously bad picks by the Little Tuna in order to overcome the 5 Correct Pick lead that Little Tuna now has over The Bookie.
Previously eliminated: Minds Blank, B-Reezy.

Little Tuna (11 points) continues her sprint in the Seeders’ Cup to hold a five point lead over the next closest Analyst.
Kal Krome (6 points), after two steady weeks of running, remains comfortably within striking distance in second place. The Bookie (5 points) jumped on Little Tuna’s horse senses to move into third place.
The Strategist (3 points) and Wise Orangutan (2 points) trotted around the second turn but remain in position to make a Secretariat-like run for the finish line.
Minds Blank, Big Tuna, and B-Reezy (0 points) will need to gallop furiously in the final two weeks to catch the leaders.

Little Tuna re-establishes her lead with a trifecta in the 14th week of the year. Her 6th trifecta and 32nd pick of the year makes her a formidable opponent down the stretch.
With only three weeks left in the season, B-Reezy — the newcomer — and Minds Blank — 2014-15 Analyst of the Year — have been eliminated from the annual competition after earning only 2 trifectas in 14 weeks.
In second place, The Strategist now trails the leader by a full length. Little Tuna’s edge in correct picks (32 v. 29) means that The Strategist will have to make up modest ground in each leg of the Seeders’ Cup.
Big Tuna, in third place, and The Bookie, in fourth, remain in serious contention for the Analyst of the Year trophy, but both need a furious stretch to overtake Little Tuna by the final week.
Kal Krome, after an unprecedented three trifecta winning streak, has pulled even with the Wise Orangutan for fifth place. Both Analysts are on the outside looking in, but remain in contention for the annual award should the three leaders falter down the stretch.
In Week 14, if Little Tuna loses, Kal and Orangutan must earn a trifecta to stay within striking distance of Little Tuna. If Little Tuna earns a trifecta, Kal and Orangutan are automatically eliminated. Also, if the Big Tuna or The Bookie do not earn a trifecta, they are eliminated by a successful trifecta by Little Tuna.
In other words, flay (or fillet) Little Tuna!

Little Tuna’s lead shrinks to only a 1/2 length after The Strategist moves into a tie with her fifth trifecta of the year. Little Tuna holds the edge in correct picks (29 v. 27), but her horse sense may be failing her down the stretch.
Moving into third place, Big Tuna leads The Bookie by a head. Both Analysts have 4 trifectas, but Big leads with one more correct pick (26 v. 25).
After an 8-week hiatus, Wise Orangutan gains a third trifecta and holds off the Analysts charging from the back of the pack.
Gaining her first trifecta in 10 weeks, Minds Blank keeps a slim lead with her 2nd trifecta and 25th correct pick.
Kal Krome charges hard over the past two weeks to tie B-Reezy for seventh place with 2 trifectas and 23 correct picks.
Heading into the final month, all eight Analysts remain in contention for the Analyst of the Year Trophy, but three now face elimination in the coming week!
