The slate of games for the Fibonacci Stake III presents incalculable challenges this year as many playoff caliber teams will test the Home Teams of the Analysts.
In addition, we have three head-to-head clashes between the Analysts’ Home Teams: Dolphins v. Chargers (Leg 2), Dolphins v. Rams (Leg 3), and a clash of current playoff contenders to end the season, Cowboys v. Vikings (Leg 5).
Three teams go on bye weeks during the month, limiting the opportunities to select these teams two weeks in a row: Bears (Leg 1), Raiders (Leg 2), and Chargers (Leg 3). There are fewer than 8 games to pick from in all but one Leg (4).
There also appear to be a few un-owned teams that compete two weeks in a row: Jets (1 and 2), Texans (3 and 4), 49ers (4 and 5), Buccaneers (4 and 5), and Panthers (4 and 5). These un-owned teams may be selected two weeks in a row for the Fibonacci bonus trifecta points.
Home teams owned by an Analyst are in bold. The team at the left is the visiting team; the team at the right is the host (playing at home). There are a half dozen or so featured games, including four Sunday night games of the week (subject change), two Thanksgiving day games, one more Thursday night game, and two Monday night games.
Picks
Remember: Every Analyst has a bias for his or her Home Team and may not pick the sponsored team to lose. Analysts do not have to pick his or her Home Team to win a trifecta. *Bonus* trifecta points are earned for picking the same team two weeks in a row. See the Fibonacci Stakes Rules for more information.
Email three picks to The Bookie before each leg (week) of the Race. The first picks are due on Saturday, November 5.
