Marathon of the Ass remains fluid as a couple of Analysts make moves on the leader board!

With his third Trifecta in three weeks, Big Tuna moves into a tie with Bookie at 5 Trifectas each. Bookie has the inside rail with 27 Correct Picks to Big Tuna’s 25 Correct Picks.

Third place is now hotly contested by five Analysts with 4 Trifectas each. By Correct Picks, Mo Money holds third place with 27 Correct Picks, while Sponge Mom holds onto fourth place with 26 Correct Picks. Jimmy V owns fifth place with 25 Correct Picks. The Strategist and Wreck It Ralph (with his third Trifecta in three weeks!) share sixth position with 24 Correct Picks.

At 3 Trifectas each, Roxy Trot, KateTDid, and Boo Boo are within striking distance of the leaders. Roxy Trot is now in eighth place with 27 Correct Picks, followed by Boo Boo with 25 Correct Picks and KateTDid with 24 Correct Picks.

Reminder: The last five Analysts in the Analyst of the Year IX competition will lose Claim to a Home Team during Super Trifecta Bowl IX!

With 2 Trifectas each, Woody, B-Reezy, Wise Orangutan and Bug Bug are on the cusp of losing Claim to a Home Team during the postseason. Currently, only B-Reezy at 23 Correct Picks is safe. Points are coming fast and furious around the near turn of Fibonacci Stakes IX! Four Analysts earn *base* Trifectas and shake up the standings!

Moving into sole possession of first place with a 15-point *base* Trifecta, Big Tuna charges into the lead with 36 points total. Roxy Trot stumbles in the Jungle and falls into second place with 33 points and 3 Correct Home Team Picks. And, with a 12-point *base* Trifecta, Wreck It Ralph grabs the Bengal by the tail to move into third place with 33 points and 1 Correct Home Team Pick!

With 30 points each, Jimmy V, The Strategist, Bookie, and Boo Boo vie for fourth position and an open lane to the Winner’s Circle. The Strategist and Boo Boo hold the inside rail with 3 Correct Home Team Picks (second tiebreaker). Bookie bumps Jimmy V to the outside rail with a Head-to-Head (first) tiebreaker.

Little Tuna (29 points) edges up into eighth position, while Sponge Mom (28 points) falls into ninth place. With the only other 15-point Trifecta in Leg 4, Bug Bug (25 points) climbs out of the basement and positions herself for a Secretariat-like run for the Win.

The back of the field begins with a mob of Analysts at 24 points each: Mo Money, Woody, KateTDid, Wise Orangutan, and Atwork. No clear advantage emerges due to differences in head-to-head competitions (first) and correct home team picks (second). Craft Brew (19 points) and B-Reezy (17 points) round out the back of the field.
